Kano: DSS Arrests Ex-Commissioner, Retired Captain over planned “Boko Haram” attack

A Former Commissioner in the Government of Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Dr Adamu Yunusa Dangwani and a retired Army has been arrested for allegedly planning an attack in Kano.

The former Commissioner was alleged to have hired the retired Military Captain after paying him part payment N1.5 million to carry out Boko Haram like attack on the ancient City of Kano.

The retired Captain was however said to have called an inner member of Governor Ganduje Family to warned them that he will soon make Kano ungovernable.

The report which was confirmed by a top hierarchy of the State Security in Kano was further said to have led to the arrest of the retired Captain who is already been whisked away to Abuja.

On hearing of the arrest of the retired Captain, the former Commissioner was alleged to have tried to sneak out of the City but met his waterloo at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport where he was arrested.

The top security officer at the DSS office hinted that it is true that they have invited Dr Yunusa Adamu Dangwani for questioning over his alleged role in the planned onslaught on Kano.

Our Correspondent learned that already the Former Commissioner and the retired Captain have been taken to Abuja for further interrogations.

The retired Captain said that his missions has been designed was to make Kano like Somalia and ensure that the peace enjoyed is been disrupted.

He further confirmed that he was paid N1.5 million down payment to lead the attack on Kano with a promised to get his remaining money if the plan is been hatched.
