NAGAFF urges members to participate effectively in CRFFN Elections

Following the rescheduling of the election into the Governing Council of the Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria (CRFFN), freight Forwarders in the country have been urged to participate effectively.

Screening of eligible voters in the election will now hold on Thursday July 5, 2018 and Friday July 6, 2018, beginning from 9am every day, at the CRFFN Lagos office, Bisi Omidiora Street, GRA, Apapa, Lagos.

A statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary of NAGAFF, Mr. Stanley Ezenga, and made available to GrassRoots.ng, reads thus: “Intending voters are expected to come with valid mode of identification like any of the following, international passport, National ID card, Driver’s License or Permanent Voters Card.

“After scaling the screening hurdle, every successful voter will be issued a clearance which will qualify him/her to be eligible to vote in the real election scheduled for Saturday, July 7, 2018.  Voters are also expected to be neatly dressed and conduct themselves in a manner befitting of professionals that we are.

“NAGAFF management is therefore using this medium to call on all freight Forwarders, particularly all NAGAFF members not to spare any sacrifice in making the election a huge success by participating in the entire process beginning from Thursday, July 5, 2018 till the end of the exercise on Saturday July 7, 2018 for the election proper.

“It is only by so doing that we would have justified the efforts of our leaders led by the Founder of NAGAFF, Dr. Boniface Okechukwu Aniebonam who collectively staked everything to bring about the establishment of the CRFFN, and continue to labour until it got to this level.

“All eligible voters who have successfully paid their annual subscription for 2018 may wish to visit NAGAFF Chapter offices at the ports and borders as well as the National Headquarters to do a mockview of the Voters register to ascertain their names and numbers in the register of voters for easy screening process”.
