Presenting the matter, Honourable Bimbo Oladeji, representing Ogbomoso North constituency under urgent pubic importance said the hike in the tuition was recently released in the circular passed by the university authority to all categories of students, stressing that the tuition was hiked from sixty-five and seventy thousand (#65,000 and #70,000) to between two hundred thousand and three hundred thousand naira (#200,000 and #300,000).

“We all aware that the public university is the last hope of the common man who can not afford the fees paid in the private university” she said.
The chairperson House Committee on Woman Affairs and Community Development, hence called on the School Authority to have a second look at the recent increase in the school fees so as to make it affordable for people.
