One Skill You Must Learn To Survive In Life

An extrovert will also find it easy to mingle and relate with other people. Is it not the same for an introvert. They hardly exhibit social skills.

A social skill is simply that competence of facilitating interaction and communication with others. At this point social rules and relations are created, communicated, and changed in verbal and nonverbal ways.

If you suck at striking a conversation with other people, you are obviously at a disadvantage especially in situations where you need to be bold enough and speak.

The importance of having social skills are endless. Everybody needs it to succeed in the labour market or even the inevitable life journey.

Here are some of the ways you can actually improve your social life skills:

  1. Don’t overthink. If you want to add to a conversation, just do it. Don’t hesitate. It’s okay to be awkward or misunderstood. Accept it and move on. That pain of failing yourself once again? Numb it. Numb the pain!
  2. Be of value. By educating yourself and finding your own hobbies, you will naturally find something to talk about. You will naturally start to seem interesting to people without even trying.
  3. Find your own truth and live by it. You’re not in the mood to talk? Don’t. You don’t want to explain yourself? Don’t.
  4. Don’t take anything so seriously. Not yourself. Not other people. Not what you just said. Not what the other person just said. If you want to have a good time doing whatever, you will
  5. Be casual, be you. Make jokes. Go out, have fun, talk about things. Smile, laugh, grin, show emotion!
  6. Make the choice to be happy every day. You will reflect this and have an easy time conversing!
