The suspended National Chairman of All Progressive Congress Adams Oshiomhiole has finally reacted to the twist that saw Victor Giadom imposing himself as the acting National Chairman,
Upon resumption of office, Giadom also reversed Governor Godwin Obaseki’s disqualification by the party’s screening committee but only for the national working committee of APC to make another ruling against him.
Reacting to this political issue, Oshiomhole described Giadom’s take-over as the national chairman of the party as the political twist that is against common sense.
The suspended APC national chairman further stated that the APC constitution has stipulated the person to take control in the absence of the national chairman.
Oshiomhole, who spoke with Channels TV on Wednesday, warned against destabilising the party and hitting democracy on the head.
“My advice to my brother, Victor, is about common sense – in the absence of the Chairman, there is nothing in our rules and the court can only interpret the rules of the party and the Constitution of Nigeria.

“How does the deputy secretary come in? As we speak, we have a secretary in the office. People should put God first, our party’s interest second, and our democracy deep in their hearts and not trying to use any externality to destabilise it,” Oshiomhole said.
Speaking on his suspension, the embattled national chairman said he accepted the Appeal Court ruling in good faith because he is a product of judiciary.
