Nigeria indigenous telcom operator, Globacom has launched a new tariff plan that avails customers the opportunity to enjoy calls to any network in Nigeria at 11 kobo per second.
Its existing and new prepaid customers are eligible to opt for the new tariff plan, which was introduced to give them more value for money.
“It is our desire to continually delight our customers with innovative products and services at the most competitive rates in the country. This new tariff plan is another manifestation of that burning desire to add value to the lives of our customers and make it more convenient and affordable to communicate with one another,” the telco said in a statement.
It added that subscribers on the new tariff plan would enjoy other privileges.
Also,calls to any network in the country for the rest of the day would be billed at 11 kobo per second (exclusive of tax), but a subscriber would not have to pay the access fee of N7 when he or she does not make any call but only receives calls throughout the day.
Globacom explained that customers who wish to access the new tariff plan are enjoined to dial *311# subsequent upon which they will be automatically migrated to the Glo 11k per second plan.
However, existing rates for text message and international calls remain the same as customers on the new tariff plan will pay the standard text message and IDD tariff. They can as well purchase any IDD Pack of their choice to enjoy a better international call rate on the Glo network.
