After the online chat with the Nigerian Police on Tuesday, the pop singer, Naira Marley said if changes with regards to end the SARS brutality is not effected within one week, then, the scheduled protest will have to go on.

The music star took to his Twitter page shortly after an Instagram live interview session with police spokesperson, DCP Frank Mba.

The police Inspector General, Mohammed Adamu had promised to ban notorious unit from carrying out stop and search duties and setting up roadblocks amid growing anger at routine harassment and atrocities allegedly committed by its officers.

He said “If they don’t arrange themselves we will rearrange them..so we will give them a week and if we don’t see any changes we will make changes.”
