Do you that so many Nigerians have NIN already, but they are not aware. The truth is that everyone that did their BVN when it was introduced in 2014 has NIN automatically assigned to them.
The only problem is how Nigerian system handles information and this is why there seem to be a disconnect between the government and the people. The government hardly go for information experts like me to handle their key information issues that needs a professional hand.
Now, if these SIM/NIN was well handled there couldn’t have been this level of misunderstanding and disconnection between the government and the people.
The truth is like l stated above, if you have registered for BVN, then you have your National Identity already and there’s no need going for a new one.
Just dial *346# with the same telephone number you use in registering for BVN and you will see your National Identity Number. Don’t go to NIMC centres to queue, Covid19 is real.
Then use your telephone service provider NIN registration code and add your NIN and dial. From the comfort of your home you will register your SIM at zero cost.
Take for instance, MTN is using 785NIN# then dial it.Because of the pressure of the moment it might take time to come by, but just keep on trying.
