Manchester United Stock Up To 8% Return Of Ronaldo

Manchester United’s shares, which is publicly traded in the United States, has surge 8% with market cap currently over $200million, just few hours after they announced they have reached agreement to re-sign Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Portuguese footballer played for the club from 2003 through 2009, when he left to join Real Madrid. He departed that team in 2018 for Juventus.

In a statement on Friday, August 27, United announced they have agreed to pay £12.8m for the 36-year-old five-time Ballon d’Or winner, with the deal subject to personal terms, visa and a medical, the club.
