The government of Kenya has stated publicly that it is not aware of the abduction of IPOB leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and his subsequent rendition to Nigeria.
Grassroots.ng reported several months ago that the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra IPOB was last seen in Kenya where he went for treatment. Earlier last year the government of Nigeria announced his arrest which they claimed to be a form interception without proper explanation of how they arrested him.
Kanu is currently in the DSS custody Abuja in a solitary confinement awaiting for his trial. The Chief judge Justice Binta Nyako has in several occasions postpone his case without cogent reason.
Today, the government of Kenya announced that it has no hand in the arrest of Mazi Kanu.
