Arsenal Breaks Bank, Signs Aubameyang from Dortumund

Borussia Dortmund has agreed the £57.5 million (€65 million) sale of striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Arsenal.
The Bundesliga club announced in a statement on their official website that they had agreed the “immediate transfer” of the Gabon international to the Gunners.
Aubameyang, who Arsenal had targeted as a replacement for Alexis Sanchez, scored 141 goals in 213 games for Dortmund.
Aubameyang’s completed switch is now likely to mean that Chelsea frontman Michy Batshuayi will make his loan move to Dortmund, freeing up Olivier Giroud to head to Stamford Bridge for a fee of around £18 million.
