Julius Agwu Marks Comeback with ‘Festival of Love’

Julius D’Genius Agwu, multiple award winning comedian and actor, is gearing up for the 2018 edition of his annual Festival of Love gig which is slated for February 11, 2018 at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja. The last edition held in 2016 had a wide-ranging theme, ‘Life As I See It’, which was as a result of the prevailing situations around the top comic act at that time, having just survived a brain surgery.
Billed to perform at this year’s event are celebrated entertainers such as Okey Bakassi, Senator, Dan D’Humorous, Nedu Wazobia, Sound Sultan, Harrysong and Romeo. Others are MC Jay, Mimicko, Chuks D’General, Ko Baba, Emma OhMaGod, Mudiaga and Saco. The surprise of the night is famous reggae musician Blackky, who will infuse old school vibes into the evening.
As always, Julius reiterated that the essence of the show is to provide an avenue for couples to re-unite in love and also emphasise the need for Nigerians to abide in peace and unity. “Festival of Love is an evening of romantic serenade for couples and lovers. This year’s event will be a douse dose and an electrifying evening that should not be missed by anyone. Since we couldn’t hold the 2017 edition, guests should get ready for double dose of fun, gifts and entertainment,” Julius Agwu said.
Aside music and comedy, this year’s Festival of Love will also feature couples games and karaoke. Then, there will be special a moment for all February celebrants who will later cut the birthday cake together. It is definitely one of Valentine season’s events for couples to re-ignite their love life.
The event is supported by Dana Air, AIT, Hip TV, Cool FM, Wazobia FM, Silverbird, Brilla FM, Hot Fm and Iam Total Event Solution.
