BREAKING NEWS: Panic In Senate as suspended senator breaks in, seizes mace

There is pandemonium in the Senate earlier today as Ovie Omo-Agege, suspended senator from Delta state, stormed the senate, carting away the mace. He was said to have sneaked in through one of the glass barricades within the White House before carrying the mace.

Security operatives ran to the senator to get hold of him but he was shielded by his aides whom he came with.There is a serious uproar within the national assembly at the moment

Commenting on the development at the Senate, Legislative Activist and Expert, Comr. Akinloye Oyeniyi said, “The current executive session by the Senate with another mace is total illegality. The exercise is clear duplication and counterfeiting of the symbol of authority of the Senate of the Federal Republic.

“It may interest Nigerians and the entire world to know that the real Senate mace carted away today by thugs led by pro-Buhari 2019 Sen. Omo-Agege is a total closure of the legislative arm of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; and subsequent grounding of the government of the Republic”.
