Buhari should join Dasuki in prison — Atiku

Former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has aimed a jibe at President Muhammadu Buhari saying he belongs to the prison.
Atiku based his argument on the the recent allegations of illegal payment of $496 million to the U.S. Government for the purchase of Tucano jets.
Atiku said there was no difference in the crime Buhari had committed with that of the former National Security Adviser (NSA), Col. Sambo Dasuki (retd.), who has been in detention since 2015 and is currently standing trial for alleged misappropriation of about $2 billion Boko Haram war funds.
Atiku bared his mind on his official Twitter page this morning, adding that the courts should take note of the President’s illegal action.
According to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential hopeful, “I think @MBuhari should go and join Dasuki at Kuje prison because both have committed the same crime. …#illegal withdrawal.
“So court should take note.”
Grassroots.ng reports that Nigerian lawmakers have lashed the President over the payment of $496mn for the purchase of Tucano jets without the approval of the National Assembly and even threatened him with impeachment over the issue.
