Hello, Opportunity beckons as Boeing says 790,000 pilots needed

Boeing on Monday said the commercial aviation sector will need some 790,000 pilots over the next two decades.
“Boeing today released its 2018 Pilot and Technician Outlook, projecting demand for 790,000 pilots over the next 20 years.
“This represents double the current workforce and the most significant demand in the outlook’s nine-year history.
“The demand is due to the anticipated doubling of the global commercial airplane fleet in addition to record-high travel demand,” Boeing said in a statement.
Boeing expects to meet the growing demand of pilots by networking with its training campuses and building relations with flights schools around the world as well as partnering with customers, governments and educational institutions.
According to the release, Boeing is the world’s largest aerospace company and leading manufacturer of commercial jetliners and defense, space and security systems. (Sputnik/NAN)
