IYAM Media Appoints Professor Laura Kinnard as Board President

IYAM Media has announced Professor Laura Kinnard as the Board President. The announcement was made at the board meeting held on the 1st of August, 2018 at the company headquarters.

Speaking during the announcement, the Founder of IYAM Media, Daniel Iyam, expressed his joy on having Professor Kinnard on board.

He said her over 20 years global experience in leadership, entrepreneurship and marketing will be invaluable to the company.

In her response, Professor Kinnard enthused about the new position and showed her readiness to steer the IYAM Media ship to new greater heights.

Laura Kinnard obtained her MBA with an Internet Marketing Specialty designation from the Florida Institute of Technology and has an Advertising Management degree with a Marketing Concentration from Drake University, USA– where she is now a Professor and Entrepreneurial Fellow.

Kinnard teaches Entrepreneurial Management and works as an adviser for the visiting Mandela Washington Young African Leaders.

She was also awarded a reciprocal grant through the Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) program in 2017 to do entrepreneurial management and marketing training in Africa.

She brings more than two decades of strategic and leadership direction to the IYAM Media board.
