Exclusive: Prophet escapes assassination attempt in Asaba

Reports reaching GrassRoots.ng from Asaba, Delta State, indicates that assassination attempt on a popular Prophet went wrong.

According to eyewitness account who spoke to GrassRoots.ng, Prophet David Elijah of Grace and Power prophetic ministries, Asaba was attacked today by gun men on his way to a meeting.

The prophet, according to the Impeccable source was said to have been cornered by the gunmen who shot sporadically at his car.

However, he was hit by a couple of bullets but escaping alive.

A member of the Church claimed the Prophet had preached on Sunday about his grace from unnatural death.

He is being treated for his wounds in an undisclosed hospital in Asaba.

Meanwhile, attempts to gather further information from the Police Public Relations Officer in the State proved abortive as at press time.
