Osun decides: See Davido’s reaction 

Popular singer, David Adeleke, also known as Davido, has reacted to the announcement by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, declaring the just-concluded governorship election in Osun State inconclusive.

Davido’s uncle, Ademola Adeleke is the Peoples Democratic Party’s candidate in the election.

INEC said Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, polled about 254,698 ahead of Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress, APC, who garnered 254,345 votes.

This decision followed cancellation of votes in Orolu Local Government, Ife South LG, Ife North LG and Osogbo LG resulting.

However, reacting, Davido who had earlier raised the alarm that INEC planned to declare the election as inconclusive because there were cancellations and violence in some polling units, assured that there would be victory at last.

He wrote, ”Desperate for Democracy, Victory is certain which ever way ..God’s plan  issokay.”
