Serena Williams, ex-boyfriend reunite
Most people choose not to be friends with their exes, according to Daily Mail.
But that rule doesn’t apply for Serena Williams, 37, fronting up to the Creative Minds Talks with her former partner Common, 46, on Monday.
The friendly duo spoke on stage in front on fans about philanthropy, activism and entrepreneurship at Lyric Opera of Chicago.
Serena stunned in a pink sweatshirt that read the words, “I am strong’ and ‘I am beautiful.”
She teamed the off-court look with a pair of black tights and lace up boots.
The tennis legend had her brunette locks slicked back naturally into a ponytal and accessorised with a watch and bracelet.
Her makeup was kept minimal with a natural glow, bold brow and nude lip.
Common was dressed in a bright red T-Shirt with a pair of camel coloured trousers.
Serena and the actor/rapper – who’s real name is Lonnie Corant Jaman Shuka Rashid Lynn – dated on-and-off between 2007-2010.
The pair have remained good friends since the split, with Common frequently talking to social media to congratulate the athlete on her wins.
Back in 2015, the Smallfoot star opened up about their breakup on The Meredith Viera Show and confessed they had made a conscious effort to remain friends.
‘I have to say not every one of my ex-girlfriends is still friends but with some I am,’ he explained.
“(With Serena), it was kind of a mutual break-up but she initiated it. It’s okay though, we’ve got a great understanding and I care about her as a person … so we can keep that friendship.”
Common added, ‘It’s not like every person you talk to every other day but you still have that respect and you still have that love and you want to see them do well.’
Serena is currently married to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, 35, and the mum to one-year-old daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr.
Meanwhile, Serena is giving her fans a look at what she sees in the mirror.
The superstar athlete posted a sexy selfie to Instagram on Tuesday. In the image, Williams — who is wearing the starlet ruched halter dress in light pink from her clothing line, Serena — struck a sultry pose while staring into an ornate mirror.
Williams didn’t caption the photo but was sure to tag her Audemars Piguet watch.
The selfie comes one month after Williams shared a topless video to the social media platform — all for a good cause, of course.
In the music video, Williams sings a cover she recorded of the Divinyls 1990 hit “I Touch Myself,” in promotion of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.

Billionaire Socialite, E-Money To Take Full Responsibility Of Junior Pope’s Sons
Nigerian socialite Emeka Okonkwo, also known as E-Money, recently expressed his sorrow over the tragic death of his late friend, Junior Pope, who passed away in a drowning accident.
In a heartfelt note, E-Money mourned the loss of the Nollywood star and pledged to take care of Junior Pope’s three sons, making them part of his family. This gesture of generosity and support has touched many hearts, raising questions about the importance of friendship and community support in times of grief.
In his post, He wrote;
“We tenderly remember your final words on the boat, “NA ONLY ME DEM BORN I GET 3 CHILDREN NA ME GO RAISE THEM,” and we solemnly commit to honoring that vow. Your children now find solace in the embrace of the Okonkwo family, and we, as members of that family, pledge to nurture them as you would have wished. Your absence leaves a palpable void, JP, and your memory will forever be held dear. Rest peacefully, knowing that you are deeply cherished, and may God’s blessings encompass your soul, your family, and all who hold you in their hearts. ” – E-Money
God bless him as he keeps his promise.
