ANAMBRA: 19-year-old man arrested for possession of parts, can of blood, others

Nineteen-year-old Onwe Sunday of Mgbo in Ohauku Local Government Area of Ebonyi State was on Thursday arrested by a team of police on patrol at Ifite village, Awka South LGA of Anambra State for allegedly possessing human parts.

The human parts include fresh young male penis, fingers and fresh blood inside a container.

Upon interrogation, the suspect confessed to committing the dastardly act along with two other accomplices, Emeka and Blessing, (surnames unknown) who are presently at large.

According to the suspect, the victim (a child) was kidnapped beside a borehole in Ekwashe village, Ebonyi State, before he was taken to Umuziaka village where they slaughtered him in the bush before dismembering his body parts.

Confirming the incident, the State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Haruna said the remaining body parts of the victim were allegedly thrown into Ebenyi River in Ebonyi State.

Mohammed said exhibits have been deposited at Apex hospital morgue for preservation, even as the case has been transferred to State Criminal intelligence and investigations department for discreet investigation, while efforts are intensified to apprehend the fleeing accomplices.
