9 aides of Governor Amosun resign

The Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, has formally accepted the Notice of Disengagement from nine of his aides. They include his erstwhile Chief of Staff, Chief Tolu Odebiyi, and former Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Hon. Afolabi Afuwape.

Others are Messrs Lanre Edun, Tola Banjo, Bolanle Gbeleyi, Muse Lamidi, Bayo Adeyemi, Sunday Bamiwola, Dewunmi Onanuga and Sola Arobieke.

Governor Amosun conveyed his acceptance in a press statement issued on Friday in Abeokuta, signed by the Director of Administration & Supplies, Bureau of Political Affairs & Administration, Office of the Governor, Mr. Samuel Oluwasanmi. He said that the officials have requested to disengage immediately to enable them pursue their respective political ambitions.

Amosun thanked the former aides for their services to the state and wished them well in their future endeavours.
