The leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council worldwide on Sunday called on South-East Governors to immediately commence the rebuilding of the palace of father of Nnamdi Kanu, His Royal Highness (HRH) Israel Kanu, without further delay.

They also urged the governors to rehabilitate the road leading to the Palace of the father of the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) as a way of keeping their promise.

In a statement issued in Abakaliki, Ebonyi state capital, by National President Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro and Deputy, Comrade Obinna Achionye, the Igbo youths regretted the delay by the Governors in rebuilding HRM Israel Kanu’s palace.

The youths implored the governors to rebuild the royal father’s home and roads leading to it in order to ensure that the traditional ruler returns to his palace in this festive period as they allegedly promised to help calm Nnamdi Kanu’s nerves.

They condemned Nnamdi Kanu’s recent broadcast that Abia or any other part of South East will burn if the Governors win their re-election bid.
