Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State and governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, accompanied by his deputy and running mate, Hon. Mrs. Cecilia Ezeilo, Deputy President of the Senate and Senator-Elect, Enugu West Senatorial District, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, Director-General, PDP State Campaign Organisation, Dr. Charles Egumgbe, other top-notchers of the PDP, Sunday stormed 9th Mile Corner, Udi Local Government Area amid jubilation and excitement by traders, teeming supporters and admirers, in continuation of the party’s intense door-to-door campaign at markets, communities and streets of the state.

While thanking the people of the area for their solidarity and overwhelming support for the PDP during last week’s presidential and national assembly elections, Gov. Ugwuanyi, Senator Ekweremadu and other speakers urged them to troop out on March 9, to their various polling units to vote for candidates of the party, and protect their votes. The governor assured the people of more democracy dividends in line with his administration’s roadmap for the development of 9th Mile Corner.

The governor and his team also joined the party’s ward campaign at Ozalla, Nkanu West LGA, where they equally urged the people to vote for candidates of the PDP on March 9.

During the campaign, the people assured Gov. Ugwuanyi of their overwhelming votes at the polls, in appreciation of his good works and commitment to the wellbeing of the masses.
