Mother; the real superhero

In light of women’s day that was just celebrated, let me remind everyone who the real superheroes are. While we all celebrate heroes like Aquaman, Spiderman, Black Panther, wonder woman e.t.c. We do not celebrate the real super heroes “mothers” enough..

You don’t think mothers have super powers? Let’s play this game, I’ll give you three kids to cater for; bath, cook for, feed, cloth, teach , play, wipe when they poo, etc., for just a week. Then I bet you’ll agree with me. You want to know how mothers pull this off and still have amazing careers, are good friends, sisters, wives etc. It’s because they have super powers giving by the Almighty. Their power is so unique that they sometime don’t have to train, the power just comes and they become better as the day goes.

You wonder why mothers are always right! It’s that super power. That friend mom always says is a bad influence is actually a bad influence, that thing mother said would happen, would eventually happen! This is another phase of the super power, aside the multitasking phase.

The hand that rocks the cradle also makes the house a home. It is the prayers of the mother that keeps the family strong. Mother rises early in the morning and bathes her day in prayer which gives her more powers. She talks to God about her family that she cares about and has to save. Mother communicates her love in a thousand different ways. When there’s a need, she is there, whether it is night or day. Mother seasons life with love and gives so much of herself as expected of super heroes. God placed in her the best He had and made her unlike anyone else and that’s why she’s the perfect super hero.

When challenges come, our way and when trials block our view, Mother kneels down beside her bed and prays the family through. She’s always there when you need her. She feels pain when her child is in danger, even in her absence and she prays and things eventually turn out fine.

Mother is God’s special creation. She is a light shining in the dark, illuminating the path for her family and pointing them toward God.

Mother changes sadness into happiness, changes hate into love. Changes anger into smiles. She joins broken hearts and motivates them. She changes every tear into a smile. Mother has all the super powers we can think of, she just displays the right powers at the right time.

To every Mom,

You are a Wonder Woman. There is no person stronger, wiser, or more dedicated than a mother. MOM, you are the reflection of WOW.
