TRAGEDY! Federal University Lokoja student dies two days to release of final year results

​Sad news filtered in this afternoon that a student of the Department of Economics, Federal University Lokoja, Kogi State has passed-on while awaiting for the final year results.

As at the time of filling the report, the cause of the death of the student- Emeka Aruwa- was yet to be ascertained.

Our Correspondent gathered that the young man hails from the Eastern part of Nigeria.

“This came as a rude shock to us, even the staffs are dumbfounded as the results would be pasted on Monday and this young man would proceed to serve his nation at the NYSC”, a student in the Department told GrassRoots.ng. “All we can do is pray for his soul to rest in peace and rebuke such misfortune from our lives”.

Efforts to get across to the school authorities to comment on the sad news proved abortive.
