FCTA organises retreat on land administration

The FCT Administration has concluded plans to kick off a Retreat on Legal Issues on Land Administration in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
The Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Retreat, who is also the Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Abuja Geographic Information Systems (AGIS), Dr. Isa Ibrahim Jalo dropped this hint on Wednesday in his office.
The Chairman said that the Retreat has been organized by the FCT Legal Services Secretariat in conjunction with the Abuja Geographic Information Systems and the Department of Land Administration to highlight and iron out some grey areas as it concerns Legal Issues on Land Administration in Abuja.
Dr. Jalo reiterated that all stakeholder departments and agencies including some security organizations would sit down for four days to brainstorm on the vex issues.
He revealed that the Retreat is taking place at the Central Business Area, Abuja on Thursday at 9am prompt.
According to him, stakeholders to participate in the Retreat are the FCT Legal Services Secretariat, AGIS, Land Department, the Nigeria Police Force, Department of State Security, ICPC, EFCC among others.
