Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, on Wednesday evening, reacted to reports that he escaped what could have ended as a plane crash in Lagos earlier in the day.
His media aide, Mr. Kehinde Akinyemi, who spoke to News Express, debunked the claim, saying that there was no truth in it.
Akinyemi, who spoke to the newspaper on telephone, said: “I am not aware of this information and don’t know what you are talking about. Baba is few inches away from me now, talking to one of his children in the room.”
Meanwhile, according to NAN, the ex-President was among the 393 passengers who were on board an aircraft that found it difficult to land at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, in Lagos.
