Nigeria has booked a spot in the last 16 of the FIFA U-20 World Cup.

The Flying Eagles played out a 1-1 draw with Ukraine in their last Group D fixture at Bielsko Biala on Thursday.

It took their point tally to four, following a 4-0 win over Qatar and a 2-0 defeat to USA in their earlier games.

USA’s win over Qatar in the night’s other Group D game, means that Paul Aigbogun’s men finished third in the pool.

Nigeria will now take on either Senegal or Italy on Monday.
