Ihedioha packs Okorocha’s refuse dumps


. Inspects erosion site at Oguta

The newly sworn-in Governor of Imo State, Hoon. Emeka Ihediohs,has commenced process to clean up the city by ridding it of mountains of refuse seemingly abandoned buy the immediate Government of Rochas Okorocha.


GRASSROOTS.NG learnt that some of the refuse dumps have been there since January this year.
Meanwhile, the Governor has also paid a visit to the erosion site in Oguata.




Interestingly, the serene Oguta Lake Motel Resortwas was deliberately chosen as venue for Orientation cum Retreat for the in-coming members of the Imo House of Assembly (IMHA).


Apart from calling attention to the beautiful lakeside resort with a view to developing it into an international tourism hub, Governor Ihedioha also needed to see a site of severe erosion menace which has threatened the area for quite sometime.
