MOSOP condemns kidnap of her Secretary General, Anthony Porole

The Movement for the Survival of the Ogoni People, MOSOP, is saddened over the report of the kidnap of her Secretary- General, Mr. Anthony Porole, in the early hours of last night.
In a statement signed by Sunny Zorvah
Publicity Secretary, MOSOP, “report says yesterday, about 8.30pm, the kidnappers invaded the compound of Mr. Porole in Biara community in Gokana Local Government Area of Rivers State, shooting sporadically and took him away to an unknown place.
MOSOP demands his immediate and unconditional release by his abductors.
We also call on the security agencies to be on the trail of the kidnappers and ensure their immediate arrest.
It is callous and undeserving that a man who has committed his life in serving his people will be treated in this manner. Enough is enough of this criminal, uncivilized, barbaric and retrogressive act.
