Gov. Ugwuanyi summons emergency security meeting


Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has summoned an emergency meeting with all heads of security agencies in the state after a parish priest in Enugu was shot dead.
The meeting, according to a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Simon Ortuanya, will hold today, Friday, August 2, 2019, at the Government House, Enugu, at 1:00pm.
Recalled that theCatholic priest of Enugu Diocese, Reverend Fr. Paul Offu was reportedly shot dead by unidentified gunmen yesterday.
