Obiano signs MOU with TCN on power generation


Anambra State government has signed a memorandum of undersanding with the Transmission Company of Nigeria.
The MOU was signed at the State Executive Chambers, Government House, Awka.
Governor Obiano signed on behalf of the State government, while Fatuma Lawan Muhtar, the Company Secretary signed on behalf of TCN.
The MOU is in two phases. While the first phase which has 18 months completion time will be sited in Oba, Onitsha, and Nnewi in the Central senatorial zone, the second phase will be sited in Aguleri, Umuchu, Amansea and Ekwulobia in Anambra North and South Senatorial district.
Governor Obiano assured the company of right of way, calling on affected communities to give their support.
