BREAKING: Tribunal upholds Ganduje’s election victory
The Kano Election Petition Tribunal has upheld the election of Abdullahi Ganduje as the governor of the state.
The Chairman of the tribunal, Justice Halima Shamaki, dismissed the petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Abba Kabir Yusuf.
Justice Shamaki in her ruling on Wednesday said that the petition was faulty as it did not follow the Electoral Act 2010 as amended.
