A business man in Abia State, Ezeala Emmanuel Chiedozie, whose hope of recovering his N5, 360, 000 (Five Million, Three Hundred and Sixty Thousand Naira) eight years ago through a bank fraud perpetrated in his name in one of the new generation banks, has described the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC) as the last hope of the common man in Nigeria.
Ezeala made the assertion on Wednesday November 27, 2019 while being presented with a bank draft of N5, 360, 000 by the Zonal Head of the Commission in the South East, Usman Imam, on behalf of the Acting Chairman, Ibrahim Magu in Enugu.
“I am very glad for what you people have done for me. In fact, for eight years now, I have been doing one thing or another to survive as it has not been easy, you are indeed the last hope if the common man,” he stressed.
