Gov. Dickson hails Abia, Delta Govs’ victory at Supreme Court

The Governor òf Bayelsa State, the Honourable Henry Seriake Dickson, has congratulated the Governor òf Abia State, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu and his Delta State counterpart, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, on judgment affirming their elections at the Supreme Court.

Governor Dickson who is the outgoing Chairman òf the PDP Governors Forum said in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Fidelis Soriwei, that the judgment would give the expected relief to the Governors to focus on governance.

He said that with the final resolution of the electoral dispute in their favour, the Governors would now focus on delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of their respective states.

The Governor commended the Supreme Court for the bold decision in favour òf the mandate of the people of the respective states.
