Football Lovers Should Expect A Boring Weekend

For football lovers, the next 2 to 3 weekend is going to be boring. Most of the league competitions across Europe have been suspended indefinitely, while the English Premier League will resume on the 4th April 2020. All these postponements are simply because of the Coronavirus outbreak.

This simply means the much awaited Manchester United vs Tottenham will not hold this Sunday. Many United fans expect the club to continue building its momentum and capitalise on the poor form of Jose Mourinho’s men.

On Wednesday, one of the biggest ties in the EPL, Manchester City vs Arsenal was postponed due to the same outbreak. More worrisome is that some players were already confirmed to have contacted the virus and Arsenal’s Manager, Mikel Arteta to be among them.

Football lovers would need to find alternative engagements these coming weekend while health officials continue to exert more efforts to prevent the outbreak.
