[BREAKING] 82.9m Nigerians Living In Poverty – Report


At least 82.9 million Nigerians are living in poverty, National Bureau of Statistics on Monday said on Monday.
The report titled ”2019 Poverty & Inequality in Nigeria” noted that the figure represents 40.09% of the total population.
According to the report, 52.10% of rural dwellers are living in poverty while the poverty rate in urban centres is 18.04%.
