LASURA GM Inspects Property on Lagos Island

The newly appointed General Manager of the Lagos State Urban Renewal Agency (LASURA), Ms. AJibike Shomade, on Sunday, embarked on an inspection exercise of all the Agency’s property in Lagos Island Central Business District.
Speaking during the tour, she explained that the visit was to identify, ascertain and acquaint herself with the physical and structural conditions of the property.
Shomade assured occupants that the Agency will be more diligent in ensuring the adequate maintenance of the buildings, stressing that the developers and managers must, henceforth, abide by the standard maintenance guidelines in order to prevent dilapidation.
While declaring that the Agency will maintain an enduring, modern and sustainable environment for the people of the State, the General Manager solicited the support and cooperation of the staff in actualising the mandate of LASURA for the benefit of every resident in Lagos State.
