ABU Lecturer Shot Dead By Bandits On Katsina-Zamfara Road


The insurgency in the Northern part of Nigeria continues to intensify as reports indicate that a lecturer with Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Dr Mohammad Bello Hassan, Wednesday, was shot dead along Katsina-Zamfara road.
The ongoing security crises in the country has attracted global attention with the United Nations and the USA out President Buharinto beef up his security architecture, Grassroots.ng reported.
Hassan, of the Department of Agricultural Economics, Institute for Agricultural Research, ABU, Zaria, was murdered by armed bandits on his way back from Zamfara for an official engagement.
He was buried earlier today according to Islamic rites.
