BREAKING: Lagos Health Commissioner Contracts Covid-19
The Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof Akin Abayomi, has been confirmed positive to COVID-19.
Gawat Jubril, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Lagos State on New Media confirmed this on Monday via tweeter.
Jubril noted that the commissioner had no symptoms and that he is doing well.
He “will begin 14 days self-isolation and home care immediately,” while he “continues to discharge his duty as Deputy Incident Commander,” the tweet added.
