Governor Obaseki Assures Edo People Of Peaceful Election
The Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has urged the people in the state to exercise their franchise in the forthcoming election.
The Peoples Democratic Party candidate for the September 19, 2020 governorship election, made assurances of having a peaceful, fair and free election in the state.
Obaseki gave the assurance while addressing party faithful during his reelection campaign rally in Ovia South West Local Government Area of the state.
He said the President Muhammadu Buhari has assured him of a free, credible and peaceful election in the state.
According to the governor: “President Buhari has assured me that the Edo election will be peaceful.
