I Never Denied Participating In Protest, My Comment Was Taken Out Of Context – Davido

Nigerian singer, David Adeleke aka Davido has debunked media reports that he denied participating in the #EndSARS protest during a conversation with the Nigerian Police Force spokesperson in Abuja.

Davido and his team had visited the Inspector General of Police to discuss the way forward with regards to SARS disbandment.

During conversation, Frank Mba the Spokesman, alledged that Davido led the protest on Sunday.

Davido immediately responded saying ”No I didn’t protest”

However, many Nigerians have accused him of denying to have participated in the protests that took place on Sunday, October 11, 2020.

However, in a statement the singer released on Monday night, He said his comment was taken out of context as he wasn’t denying that he protested.
