Enugu Government Denies Constructing Community Phone Charging Booth

The Enugu State Government has reacted to reports that it constructed a phone-charging station for the GburuGburu community area in the State capital.
Regardless of the images of phone charging booths on social media, the Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi denied that he was not responsible for the pictures and never constructed any charging booth.
The Chairman of Nkanu East Local Government Area of Enugu state, Engr Abel Uchenna Nwobodo, however, denied the story as misleading.
In a statement, the council chairman stated categorically, “The governor and his administration are not involved in the project.
“The said project is a private initiative of an illustrious son of Nara in Nkanu East LGA as a means of contributing to the development of the community, which has nothing to do with any government.”
