Nnamdi Kanu Gives Police A 40-Day Ultimatum To Vacate Igbo Communities

Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has given the Nigerian Police and Army forty days to vacate communities and villages within the Biafra territory.
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu made this known during a broadcast on Radio Biafra on Thursday, 25th February, 2021.
This is happening as investigation proves that the Nigerian security men have resorted into the abduction of innocent citizens who are taken to the north for brutalization.
Our Newsmen gathered that about 50 women airlifted from various states in the East by the Nigerian Airforce were meant to be detained for months and being raped by the soldiers.
Speaking during the broadcast, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu condemned the assassination attempt on Barrister Richard Okorocha along Suleja – Bida road in Abuja.
It was gathered that the lawyer was almost killed few minutes after he left Alfa commando barracks between Abuja and Niger State, where he discovered that one Elvis Ngozi and 109 others who were abducted from the East were being detained in the barrack.
Nnamdi Kanu warned that any further attempt to arrest or harass citizens within the East will expose the Nigerian security personnel to become targets.
In his words, “I don’t want to see any patrol team of the police anywhere near our communities. We cannot keep quiet while they kidnap our women for rape and abduct our men for annihilation.
“We are giving them 40 days to vacate all checkpoints and cease patrolling within our communities”.
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu added that the Nigerian security men are afraid of arresting bandits in the north, while they keep molesting innocent people in the east.
