Just In: Gov El-rufai Declares NLC President, Others Wanted

Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-rufai has declared National President of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Ayuba Wabba, and other members of the union wanted.

The Governor declared wanted for economic sabotage and attacks on public infrastructure under Miscellaneous Offences Act.

Wanna, on Monday, May 17, led members of the NLC on a protest as they commenced a 5-day warning strike to kick against the sacking of about 7,000 workers in the Kaduna State Civil Service.

The industrial action paralysed the economy of the state, with almost all the sectors involved, including transportation, aviation, energy, amongst others.
