North East Governors Hold Meeting in Taraba

Just less than 24-hours Southern Governors met in Lagos State over serious issues affecting the region, the North-East Governors converged in Taraba State

The southern governors had agreed on producing the next president for 2023 general election among others.

Chairman of North-East Governors’ Forum and Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State, will be having a two-day meeting with Governors from the North East region.

The meeting is set to proffer solutions to pressing issues bordering on security challenges and others.

As of the time of filing this report, all the governors have already arrived in Jalingo for the meeting.

It was gathered that only the governor of Yobe State, Mai-Mala Buni, was represented by his Deputy, Idi Barde.
