[BREAKING] High Court In Ibadan Orders FG To Pay Sunday Igboho N20bn


Oyo State High Court has ordered the Federal Government of Nigeria to pay N20 billion to Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Igboho.
The money is for damages for the invasion of his home in Ibadan’s Soka neighbourhood, according to the court. In a suit filed by Igboho seeking N500 billion in damages for the invasion.
Presiding Judge Justice Ladiran Akintola awarded the sum as exemplary and aggravated damages against the secret police. Officers of the Department of State Security Service, DSS, stormed Igboho’s house on July 1st to arrest him.
The operatives and Igboho’s security men got into a shootout. Before raiding the entire residence, DSS operatives killed two of Igboho’s men. Several weapons, bloody charms, and various communications devices were recovered by the security agency.
