Police Arrrest Suspected ‘Yahoo Boy’ Who Tried To Behead His Girlfriend For Ritual In Bayelsa
Police in Bayelsa have arrested a suspected yahoo boy after a failed attempt to behead his girlfriend for money ritual purposes in the State.
The unfortunate incident occurred on Tuesday, September 21, along Setraco Road in Ogobiri Community.
Grassroots.ng understands that the boy had used money to lure the victim, a student of the Niger Delta University (NDU), into dating him for about a month, before he tricked her to follow him to the isolated area where he tied her hands and legs with ropes and tried to behead her.
It was gathered that a resident with knowledge of his plans alerted youths of Ogobiri Community who also informed the Police. He was secretly tracked and was caught.
