KWASU Lecturer Arrested For Arranging A Resit Exam In Bedroom

A lecturer at the Kwara State University, named Pelumi Adewole, has been arraigned before an Ilorin Magistrate’s Court following his arrest by the State Intelligence Bureau.
Adewole was accused of criminal intimidation, sexual harassment, and examination malpractices after allegedly calling and threatening to fail a female student of the school if she refuses to sleep with him, in September 2021.
The student was said to have reported the threat to the police who in turn asked her to play along in order to obtain evidence. The lecturer reportedly invited the student to his bedroom where he gave her a new question paper and answer script of KWASU to rewrite her exam with a promise to have sexual intercourse with her till daybreak.
He was said to have been caught in the process by the detectives who were hiding at a nearby location.
