Osinbajo Will Run For Presidency In 2023 – Jimi Disu

Veteran Journalist and public affairs analyst, Mr Jimi Disu has confirmed that Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo will throw his hat in the ring for the 2023 Presidential Election.
In a radio program monitored in Lagos on Wednesday, Disu authoritatively said the VP will put himself forward for the election next year.
Asked how he knew it, Disu said: “I know it for a fact that Osinbajo will run for the election.”
On the claim in some quarters that it would amount to disloyalty and betrayal on the part of Osinbajo to contest in the same election that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who is considered to have made him had already declared his interest in, Disu said those behind such narrative were being clever by half.
He said the question of Tinubu making Osinbajo was inappropriate, querying: “Is it Tinubu that sent Osinbajo to school? Is he the one that made him a professor of law?
“Take away Governor and VP, Osinbajo is arguably the most intellectually endowed presidential aspirant.”
Disu said the issue of betrayal does not arise as the relationship between Osinbajo and Tinubu was mutually beneficial to both parties.
